A couple of months ago I gave a sermon here at this church. I added great emphasis on the word "Agape" which is the word used to describe the love of God. Jesus loved us so deeply and unconditionally with this type of love that He wanted to sacrifice Himself and die for our sins. This gives us the opportunity to spend eternity in Heaven. Jesus died for all of us and for all of our sins. He died on that cross knowing that there would be people who would not love Him back. And yet He still chose to die for them. That is the love of God.
