I was doing some reading in the book of Hebrews this week and I came across Chapter 10 Verses 11 and 12 which say: "Every priest stands day after day ministering and offering the same sacrifices time after time, which can never take away sins. But this man [Jesus] after offering one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God." This verse shows us that Christ and Christ alone is only able to make sacrifices that truly take away our sins and it is through His sacrifice that we are able to spend eternity with Him and be saved.
