We live in a fallen world full of disappointment and hopelessness. It is inevitable in our world. Thankfully we were given a promise and it can be remembered through communion. We remember Jesus' death during communion but we also recognize what He did after He died. He rose again and overcame death. In communion, we can look forward to when He will return. We have God on our side to carry us through the trials we will face here on Earth. And remember, we have a promise and a hope to look forward to. And that is Jesus.
