Two weeks ago I moved out of my parent's house and into my first apartment. I'm getting used to being on my own, but I never realized how much my parents actually did for me. I was convinced that I could do this apartment thing completely on my own without my parent's help but I have proven myself wrong many times these past two weeks. This reminds me of Jesus because we may not always see all of the behind-the-scenes work that Jesus does in our lives, much like my parents for example, but He is always there and He will never leave us. This reminds me of communion because through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross we never have to be alone and not only do we not have to do life on our own, we can not do it without Jesus.
