The Bigger Picture

...

The book of Luke is one of my favorite books of the Bible to read during Christmas time. As I was reading this past week I came across Luke 22. This chapter talks about the Lord's supper and specifically communion. Jesus shared the bread and juice as a remembrance of Himself because He knew that He would be dying on the cross soon. Jesus was aware of His crucifixion and He knew that it was a part of God's plan. As I read, I realized that the trials that God puts us through, which sometimes may feel impossible, are a part of His bigger plan. Trusting and relying on God as Jesus did is the best way for us to overcome our trials. When we are going through difficult times, It's important for us to remember that God knows what He is doing and He has a plan to use our struggles to further His kingdom.
