God uses each of us in a unique way by using our unique situations. It may not make sense to us now but it makes sense to God. By looking at the Christmas story, we can see that this is true. God took an unlikely woman and made her the earthly mother of His own son. Jesus was born in a stable surrounded by farm animals. This was not the setting we would have expected to see the savior of the world born in. But, nonetheless, God used unlikely people and places to show us His goodness and glory. He can use each of us in our everyday lives to bring glory to Him as well.
