Music is one of my favorite ways to worship God. A couple of weeks ago I was listening to a song about the hope that Jesus gives us. Some of the lyrics say "We have hope in Jesus (our) present help, and redeemer." I think this song serves as a good reminder that even though Jesus' sacrifice was thousands of years ago, the hope that this sacrifice gives us is still present today. Through His death on the cross and the shedding of His blood, we have been forgiven of our sins and we have the opportunity to spend eternity with Him if we accept His gift. This gift can be remembered through communion.
