This week I was thinking about the verse Ephesians 2:8 which says: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God." This verse gets me thinking about my practices and habits as a Christian like going to church, reading my Bible, and praying. While these practices are all great things to do to further us in our relationship with God, ultimately, they are not sufficient enough for us to spend eternity in Heaven. This is where Jesus comes in and with His sacrifice on the cross and by His grace we can be saved.
