Music is one of my favorite ways to worship God. Listening to worship music helps me feel closer to God and helps me feel His presence around me. One of my favorite songs is called "Communion" by Maverick City Music. Sometimes I find it difficult to truly feel God's presence. I want to share a few of the lyrics from the song. It says: "You (Jesus) are closer than my skin. You are in the air I'm breathing in." This song captures what it means to have God all around us at all times God is present in every aspect of our lives even if we don't feel it. We may not take much notice of the air that we are breathing in every moment of our lives, but it is still there and we need it as much as we need God to survive.
