On Wednesday nights I attend the "Well" which is a worship service for college-aged students held on Mizzou's campus. This week the speaker spoke on the topic of peace. I enjoy writing out my prayers and looking back I can see that peace is a common theme that I pray for in my life. The speaker said something that stood out to me. "God is the ultimate source of peace, and we are called to bring the peace of God to the world." It is only through Jesus that real peace is possible and through His sacrifice on the cross we can have peace.

John 14:27 says "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled or fearful."

The Lord provides a peace that the world can not give us. When we seek peace, we need to seek Jesus.
